From the mid '80s through the mid '90s, Nancy had the exciting opportunity to work first with the Saturn Project then with Saturn Corporation during its evolutionary (some may say revolutionary) years. During this decade, Nancy participated in all aspects of Saturn's philosophical and operational origins. She scripted a documentary about the history of GM and the UAW and wrote the recruitment videos Saturn used to attract employees and suppliers to its unique way of doing business. Nancy also developed many training solutions that helped to foster Saturn's innovative leadership approach and self-directed team structure. A writer at heart and an instructional designer by trade, Nancy's numerous
projects in a wide variety of industries have given her a high level of
expertise in leadership and coaching models and skills, business consulting,
customer-focused sales and service standards and continuous improvement
processes. Nancy met her husband of 33 years while they both earned degrees
at the University of Michigan. In fine Wolverine tradition, her daughter
and son are also Michigan alums. She and her husband reside in Beverly
Hills, Michigan. In her free time, Nancy returns to the keyboard to work
on her first novel, a mystery set in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
